TENNIS Riverheads beat Stuarts Draft 9-0 in boys tennis Monday. Mason Mays, Jacob Terry, Isaac Grimm, Payton Snell, Landen Higgins and Joel Maybush led the Gladiators by sweeping the singles matches. Then, in doubles, Mays and Jackson Smith, Grimm and Charles Glenn, and Terry and Snell teamed up to complete the shutout. Riverheads is now 2-0 and hosts Wil- son Memorial Thursday. Spotswood beat Wilson Memorial Monday in boys tennis 6-3.

In girls tennis, Wilson fell to Spot- swood 8-1, while Riverheads edged Stuarts Draft 5-4 to improve to 2-1 on the season. In Shenandoah District baseball Monday, Waynesboro beat Charlottes- ville 16-0 to improve to 2-1. Staunton won its second game in a row, topping Mountain View 9-3. And Wilson Me- morial lost to Spotswood 12-2. Waynesboro softball is also 2-1 after an 18-0 win over Charlottesville Mon- day.
